Kickstarter announcement for Tiny Beautiful Things
Video release of Easy featuring Theo Katzman
"It always starts with the songs. The songs are the guides, and we do our best to serve them. Theo and I sat down and felt through each word and put our hearts into every note of this stripped down version of Easy. We are reaching for some truth together. He’s that kind of friend and that kind of musician.
I asked Theo to sing the background harmonies on the entire album. There is something so remarkable about Theo’s voice. Those of you that know him, understand what I mean. Now imagine six of him! It’s like the Eagles put all of their voices into one angel human and the result is heavenly. Theo also played lead electric guitar on two songs. As I’ve gotten to know his guitar playing, it’s become not just a sound I love, but an entire feeling/texture/place in music.
