On January 2, 2017, Theo Katzman hosted a Facebook Live mini concert in celebration of his Kickstarter-funded album, Heartbreak Hits. Performed as an intimate online release event, the livestream featured a stripped-down solo set that reflected the personal, grassroots spirit of the album. The broadcast offered fans an early example of Katzman using social media to connect directly with his audience during an album launch.
